Biography

Kwabena G. Boakye, Ph.D., is a professor of information systems and analytics in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics at the Parker College of Business, Georgia Southern University. He received his Ph.D. in management science from the University of North Texas, MS in statistics from the University of Idaho, and BSc in Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Technology, Ghana. Kwabena is an American Society for Quality Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. His research interests include healthcare and service operations strategy, quality management, and information technology post-adoption. His works have appeared in the International Journal of Production EconomicsQuality Management Journal, Health Care Management ReviewProduction Planning and ControlJournal of Computer Information SystemsJournal of Retailing and Consumer Services, and Computers in Human Behavior, among others. Kwabena’s hobbies include gardening, cooking, and playing tennis.
