Child Care Access Means Parents in School Program (CCAMPIS)

The Childcare Access Means Parents in School Program (CCAMPIS) is a federal grant funded 100% by the U.S. Department of Education. This program supports the participation of low-income student-parents enrolled in postsecondary education through the provision of campus-based child care services. These services include a stipend of up to $150 a week paid directly to participating Quality Rated childcare centers on behalf of the participant. In addition to minimizing childcare cost, CCAMPIS will partner with on- and off-campus resources to support and motivate student-parents toward the successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree.
Our Mission:
- Increase retention and graduation rates
- Increase access to off-campus resources for wrap-around services
- Increase campus engagement.
- Increase the confidence in the student-parent‘s ability to achieve goals, be successful, and sharpen parenting skills.
Participation is limited.
CCAMPIS Provides
- Financial assistance with child care fees
- Workshops on various topics
- Mentoring and coaching to support participants’ academic goals
