SOCIAL COGNITION AND ENTREPRENEURIAL PERSISTENCE
Kelly G. Shaver’s accomplished career includes prior affiliations with the National Science Foundation, the College of William & Mary, and the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Research Institute (ESBRI) in Stockholm. For five years, Shaver was editor of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. He is the author or coauthor of 10 books and 69 articles emphasizing social psychology. He began studying entrepreneurship in the late 1980s and participated in publishing six books, nine chapters, and 39 articles on entrepreneurship. Shaver is a fellow of the American Psychological Society, a member of the Society of Experimental Social Psychology, and is past chair of the entrepreneurship division of the Academy of Management.
