Deadline to apply for the TAG Business Launch approaching
The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Business Launch 2013 deadline for applications is approaching quickly. The last day to register is this Friday, Feb. 15. The TAG Business Launch is a competition designed to assist Georgia-based technology start-up companies. The TAG Business Launch gives will invite entries in the area of Internet Technologies. This includes software and hardware companies that are developing products, online services, or backend technologies, which extend the reach, flexibility and ease of the internet.
The competition takes place over a period of four months where applicants have the opportunity to present their business plans to an elite group of judges made up of influencers and investors in the community. Every qualified applicant will receive publicity as well as a mentor to help them along through the process.
The process concludes with the finalists presenting their business plan to a panel of entrepreneurs, capitalists, and angel investors from around the country. To enter the competition, applicants must first submit a simple preliminary application before Feb. 15. A more extensive and final entry will be due March 22. The finalists will receive over $450,000 in cash and prizes to assure the start-up company has everything in place to be successful.
