Emergency Preparedness Traveling Exhibit


IHLA is thrilled to develop and produce a traveling exhibit on emergency preparedness. This exhibit will initially travel to rural public libraries along the Georgia coastal counties.

  • The exhibit will provide information on how to protect yourself and your community in the event of a natural disaster, with a focus on hurricanes.
  • Visitors will learn how to create their own Go-Kit.

Exhibit components:

  • Three free-standing informational banners
  • Free-standing case exhibiting Go Kit items
  • Hand out with checklist for creating a personal Go Kit and list of trusted emergency preparedness resources. Click here to download a Go Kit checklist.
  • iPad kiosk with links to trusted sources of emergency information.
