IWH Laboratories

IWH Laboratories conducts water and health research and provides environmental assessment services. The 8,000 sqft facilities are located in Savannah, Georgia has four laboratories, offices for researchers, field equipment, and computational resources.

Testing Capabilities

Biosafety Level 2 IWH laboratories are capable of testing for a suite of viruses, bacteria, and protozoa from drinking, recreational, stormwater, wastewater, and sediments. We conduct research on identifying the occurrence, fate, and transport of chemical and microbiological contaminants in groundwater, rivers, and marine beaches.
