Process for all Candidates
- Fill out the Candidate Intent to Run form. Candidates qualifications have to be screened to ensure candidate is eligible to run in SGA elections.
- All eligible candidates must attend one Candidate Information Session.
- Campaign according to the Elections Guidelines and only during the campaigning window: March 3 at 8:00 a.m. – March 15 at 11:59 p.m.
- Elections are March 10-12, 2025 and open to the entire student body to vote.
Candidate Information Sessions
All candidates are required to attend one of the available Candidate Information Sessions. All sessions will take place virtually on Zoom. Registration Links for each meeting can be found below once Intent to Run begins on January 27th, 2025.
- Friday, February 14th, 4PM-5PM
- Monday, February 17th, 4PM-5PM
- Wednesday, February 19th, 4PM-6PM
- Tuesday, February 25th, 5PM-6PM
- Wednesday, February 26th, 5PM-6PM
Elections Timeline
- January 27 – February 26 Complete the Candidate Intent to Run Form
- DEADLINE TO FILE IS FEBRUARY 26TH
- All submissions will receive a notification after submitting their form to their Georgia Southern email after determining eligibility.

Elections (Vote online via MyGeorgiaSouthern link) - March 13 at 12:00 p.m.
Announcement of Winners - April 7 at 5:30 p.m.
Newly elected members of SGA attend SGA Senate meeting to be recognized - April 16 at 6:00 p.m.
Newly elected Armstrong members of SGA are sworn in at Eagle Excellence Awards on Armstrong - April 22 at 6:00 p.m.
Newly elected Statesboro members of SGA are sworn in at Eagle Excellence Awards on Statesboro
