Proposal Guidelines

The Southeast Conference on Languages & Literatures is marked by its wide variety of topics that discuss and dissect the intricacies of language, literature, pedagogy, film and cultures from around the world.

  • Pre-organized panel proposals are encouraged.
  • All submissions (abstracts and panel proposals) should be written in either English or the language appropriate to your area.
  • All papers are limited to 25 minutes (9-10 double spaced pages).

We invite electronic proposals in the following subject areas:

Papers presented at SECCLL may also be submitted for consideration for publication in The Coastal Review, the conference’s online, peer-reviewed journal.
