Developing People Through Training, Coaching, and Mentoring focuses on enhancing leadership skills through effective people development strategies. Participants will explore the fundamental principles and practical applications of training, coaching, and mentoring in professional settings.

About the Course

This course equips participants with essential tools to foster growth, empower teams, and cultivate a supportive organizational culture. 

Identify Developmental Needs: Participants will be able to assess individual and team strengths and weaknesses to identify specific developmental needs within their organization.

Design Effective Training Programs: Learners will gain the skills to design and

implement targeted training programs that address identified developmental gaps and

enhance employee competencies.

Apply Coaching Techniques: Participants will learn and apply effective coaching

techniques to support ongoing skill development, improve performance, and foster a

culture of continuous learning within their teams.

Establish Mentoring Relationships: Attendees will understand the principles of

mentoring and be able to establish and maintain productive mentoring relationships that

promote professional growth and leadership development among team members.

Navigating Difficult Conversations

When: October 16, 2024 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Where: The CPE Center, 10449 US Hwy 301 S., Statesboro, GA 30458

Navigating Difficult Conversations equips participants with essential skills to navigate challenging interpersonal interactions effectively. Over four hours, attendees will learn strategies and techniques to manage and de-escalate tense situations, facilitate open communication, and reach mutually beneficial resolutions. Through interactive simulations and practical case studies, participants will gain confidence in addressing sensitive topics, managing emotions, and fostering a more collaborative and respectful workplace environment. This course empowers leaders at all levels to handle difficult conversations with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.

About the Course

Participants will develop skills in articulating thoughts clearly, actively listening, and using empathetic communication techniques to navigate challenging conversations with confidence.

Conflict Resolution Skills: Learners will learn practical techniques to identify underlying issues, manage emotions, and facilitate constructive dialogue to professionally resolve conflicts and disagreements.
