Testing Dates: November & April
The AIC Exam is offered in the fall and spring semesters. All registration for the exam is completed through the association website by using the information listed below and study preparation recommendations. REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Register for the Exam at the AIC website.
To get started you must create a profile, click the link to do so beneath the login fields. The site prompts for a CPC Level 2 External Code, this does not apply to them and the option of “I do not have a Level 2 External Code” should be selected. Once the profile is complete, you will need to verify your email address via an email that is sent after profile completion.
Please DO NOT create multiple accounts if you have technical issues with account setup and/or registration. Please contact AS at support@assess.com and AIC info@professionalconstructor.org.
Once your profile is confirmed, you can complete the registration process. Registration includes payment of fees, completion of several short forms, and finally scheduling of the examination. All forms must be completed online to be able to schedule their exam. When scheduling an exam, students should look for examination dates in November or April. Sites will appear available under the dates they have decided to host their exam. Once you have selected your exam site, it will notify the AIC to review your information and confirm the scheduling for the exam.
THE ABOVE INSTRUCTION DOES NOT APPLY TO STUDENTS RETAKING THE EXAM. STUDENTS WHO ARE RETAKING THE EXAM SHOULD EMAIL info@professionalconstructor.org FOR REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS.
Students will be sent an Exam Admission ticket a week before the exam by email. This will include their Candidate ID which is required on exam day as they must be entered on their exam score form.
