The LSAT test is used for admission to law schools. The test is administered through the policies and procedures established by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). Many law schools require students to take the LSAT no later than December for admission consideration for the Fall.
The LSAT is offered five times a year. For information concerning registration, fee waivers, policies and procedures, accommodations, and future dates consult the LSAT website.
The LSAT Format
Five 35-minute multiple-choice questions sections
– One reading comprehension section
– One analytical reasoning section
– Two logical reasoning sections
– One section to pretest a new test section
– One unscored writing section

Test Preparation
LASC offers test preparation materials including sample tests, the official LSAT Study Guide, and Khan Academy which offers free test preparation.
Picture Identification Required for All Tests
Please make sure you bring an acceptable ID (valid state driver’s license or passport).
