Welcome

The Graduate Education and Research office provides oversight and support for graduate programs and research activities in the College of Education.  Some of the responsibilities of this office include:

• Oversight of graduate curricular changes and program development
• Issues with graduate admissions, course enrollment, and graduation
• Liaison with other offices for admissions and university policies that govern graduate education on campus (e.g., University-level graduate admissions)
• Oversight of the Graduate Academic Services Center: http://ww2.georgiasouthern.edu/coe/gasc/
• Enrollment management and recruitment
• Graduate assistant assignments
• Budget allocation and planning to support graduate education and research initiatives
• Development and support of research/scholarship and grant proposals
