Building Operations

Facilities Building Operations performs maintenance and energy services for the university. This department consists of Mechanical Services, Structural Services, and Service Response Center. Their duties include fulfilling the work orders regarding plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and structural services.

  • Mechanical Services is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and alteration of the University’s building Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems, Utility Systems, Energy Management and the maintenance and repair of the University’s Vehicle Fleet. Night and weekend maintenance services are also provided.
  • Structural Services provides quality repair and maintenance services to support the needs of the University. The department provides carpentry, graphics design and painting services.
  • The Service Response Center (SRC) manages all requests for repairs assigned to Facilities Services. The SRC provides information on the current status of requests once a work order number is issued to the requester. When the work is completed, the SRC sends the requester a completion notification.
