ONLY FOR SOUTHERN: SOARING HIGHER, TOGETHER

Blue and White supporters united like never before during Georgia Southern University’s second annual Only for Southern: 24 Hours of Eagle Giving campaign held in early March. In just 24 hours, 1,561 Eagle Nation donors came together for a single cause: to uplift Georgia Southern through generosity, spirit and pride. The result was outstanding: $534,487 raised to make a difference in the lives of the University community. This remarkable outpouring of support builds on the success of our inaugural giving day held March 26–27, 2024, when 900 passionate donors united to raise $50,000. That first effort lit a spark — and this year, the flame burned brighter than ever.

A WORLDWIDE WAVE OF GENEROSITY

Only for Southern has become more than just a campaign — it’s a growing collective effort. In 2024, donors from 34 states and 4 countries (United Kingdom, Spain, France and Germany) joined the cause. This year, the reach expanded ever further. Supporters from 39 states and 12 countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Norway, Georgia and Thailand, were represented. From Statesboro to Stockholm, from Savannah to Bangkok, Eagles everywhere raised their voices — and their support for Georgia Southern.
