Zach S. Henderson Library Offers a Quiet Retreat

Summertime is in full swing and if you’re in need of a relaxing, cool place to study or get away, the Zach S. Henderson Library may be just the ticket.

Primarily research-oriented, the library features art exhibits, an ever-expanding DVD collection, academic documentaries and an MP3 collection. You can present your Eagle ID and rent any of these items free of charge.

“The library is a real hub of the University,” says David Rogers,  a library employee who works in the Circulation Department. “It’s a place people live a lot of their lives, a quiet place where you can come to get away from it all.”

During the summer, the library is open at the following times:

  • Sunday: Noon – Midnight
  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – Midnight
  • Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Need a coffee break? Don’t forget about Zach’s Brews, a coffee shop offering breakfast, lunch and baked goods located inside the library on the second floor.

Visit the Zach S. Henderson Library website to search for books and to learn more about available resources.
