Nessmith-Lane Conference Center on Wednesday, Aug. 14 beginning at 10 a.m. All
faculty and staff – returning and new – are encouraged to take part in these
activities to kick off another great year. The program schedule is available
below:
10 – 10:40 a.m. A pre-convocation
reception will be held in the atrium area of the Nessmith-Lane Conference
Center including refreshments.
10:45 – 11:45 a.m. The Convocation ceremony will take place in the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Included in the program will be President Brooks Keel's State of the University Address themed “Success in Motion,” as well as the announcement and recognition of the recipients of the Faculty Awards of Excellence.
11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. Immediately following Convocation, a full lunch buffet will be provided by Eagle Dining Services and served in the Nessmith-Lane Ballroom, featuring a varied menu to accommodate diverse dietary needs. The crowd will be large, but there will be six serving lines to expedite the serving time.
