Special Events to Take Place at Saturday’s Home Football Game

In addition to the home game this Saturday, Oct. 12 when the Georgia Southern Eagles take on The Citadel Bulldogs, several special events also will take place at Allen E. Paulson Stadium:

Military Appreciation Day  The Georgia Southern ROTC, Georgia Southern Athletics and Nelligan Sports have partnered together with Dominos and Krystal to feed all Military members at the RAC Pavillion from 10:30 a.m. until Noon. Troops are encouraged to bring their families and come tailgate before the 1 p.m. kickoff.

Beginning at 10 a.m., all military members, active and retired can receive a complimentary ticket located at the Gate 4 ticket booth. Family of military members may also purchase tickets at a discounted rate. In addition, Eagle fans can purchase or donate tickets for Military Appreciation by calling the Georgia Southern Ticket Office at 1-800-GSU-Wins from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. during the week.

Boy Scouts of America Fall Camporee
Saturday is also Fall Camporee for the Boy Scouts of America. One hour after the football game is completed, The Coastal Empire Council of the Boy Scouts of America will camp out at Eagle Field behind the Paulson Stadium parking lot. While campfires will not be allowed, the registered attendees can bring a tent and enjoy an outdoor showing of "Little Giants" on a blow up projection screen at dark. Join the fun!
