Student Event: Academic Battle of the Sexes This Wednesday
The Multicultural Student Center is hosting an Academic Battle
of the Sexes on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. in the Russell Union Commons.
Presented by the Minority Advisement Program (MAP), the activity is created to
interactively educate students on conquering high passing grades in difficult
classes.
“We will be playing the Family Feud game as an effective tool to inform
students about studying strategies, time management and other tips on how to
stay on track academically. The learning objective for the program is to
advocate students with academic essentials in order to gain scholastic
excellence,” says Abiola Oloyede, graduate assistant of MAP.
The event is open to all students. Free food will be available.
