Eagle Techxpo Offers Two Competitions
Information Technology Services is hosting the annual Eagle Techxpo Conference on Friday, Nov. 1 in the College of Engineering and Information Technology building, along with two competitions–one for students and one for the entire University community.
The Eagle Techxpo Video Challenge
The Eagle Techxpo Video challenge is a showcase for students to tell the world
in video "What Makes Georgia Southern University Great!" The theme
can focus on one of three categories:
- Georgia Southern Athletics
- Georgia Southern Academics
- Georgia Southern Student Life (such as campus organizations, residence halls, etc.)
The winning videos will be displayed at Eagle Techxpo and winners will be announced the day of the event during the 3 p.m. General Session. Submissions are due Tuesday, Oct. 15. The grand prize is Adobe Creative Cloud. Learn more.
Computer Shoot-out
The Techxpo Computer Shoot-out is a showcase for students, faculty and staff who
enjoy building custom computers and pushing their creations to the limit. Anyone who wants to show off the "beast
of a machine" they've built at home is welcome to participate. Learn more.
