Teen Driver Safety Week at Georgia Southern

Georgia Southern University will welcome the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) to campus on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. with a news conference to observe Teen Driver Safety Week.

University President Brooks A. Keel,  GOHS Director Harris Blackwood and area law enforcement officers will discuss efforts to combat teen driver crashes, injuries and fatalities. Traffic crashes are the number one cause of death for teenagers in Georgia and nationwide.

The news conference will be held on Sweetheart Circle in front of the Marvin Pittman Administration Building, 1332 Southern Drive.
