Join UPB for the Lighting of Sweetheart Circle
The University Programming Board is hosting the annual Lighting of Sweetheart Circle on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 4 – 6 p.m. Brooks Keel, president of Georgia Southern University will kick off the holiday season with the official “flipping of the switch” to commemorate the event. Other festivities will include:
- Refreshments
- Music
- Holiday-themed crafts
- Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Snow machine
“We invite you to join the University Programming Board for
some winter holiday cheer. It doesn’t
typically snow in South Georgia but at the Lighting of Sweetheart Circle, we’ll
have snow for a day!” says Memory Littles, activities coordinator with the
Office of Student Activities.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the
