Talons Grille Reopens with New Menu and Hours

The spring 2013 semester isn’t the only thing new this January. Talons Grille, located in Russell Union is now offering a new menu and different business hours.

A boardinghouse style eatery tucked away in a comfortably quiet corner of Russell Union, the menu offers seasonal Southern cuisine like fried pork chops with whipped garlic mashed potatoes and pot roast with carrots, onions and potatoes. Varying often, menu selections are based on seasonal ingredients and the chef's inspiration.

“Now Georgia Southern's Eagle Dining Services offers a place where students, faculty and staff may come cultivate relationships while enjoying farm-to-table meals,” says Jessica O’Neill, Marketing Manager of The University Store. “Talons Grille is poised to be the dining experience for the local Georgia Southern community.”

Open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., all plates are $8.50 including a tossed house salad and bread service.
