Alumni Spotlight: Leslie Scarboro Earns National Recognition in Education
Alumna Leslie Scarboro, assistant principal at Needwood Middle School in Brunswick, Georgia has been named the 2013-2014 National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) National Outstanding Middle Level Assistant Principal of the Year for the state of Georgia.
Sponsored by the NAESP Foundation and presented annually to an outstanding middle level assistant principal in each state, Scarboro was selected based on her accomplishments as an educational leader and her commitment to community.
Scarboro is a 1994 graduate of the University of Alabama. She earned her master’s and educational specialist degrees from Georgia Southern University.
