Kerry Dunn receives author award from American Society of Radiologic Technologists

Kerry O. Dunn, Ed.D., a senior lecturer of radiography in Georgia Southern University’s Waters College of Health Professions, has received the Radiologic Technology Distinguished Author Award from the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for her article, “Exploring the Definition of Clinical Radiography Leadership.” 

Published in the January/February 2024 issue of Radiologic Technology, Dunn’s article explored her study, which aimed to develop a model of clinical leadership that encompasses the technical skills and leadership behaviors exhibited by clinical radiography leaders.

“This award is such an incredible honor as it allows me to contribute to my profession and highlight the unique contribution that the radiologic science profession provides,” said Dunn.

The Distinguished Author Awards are presented annually by the ASRT to recognize authors whose work in the prior year has significantly advanced the body of knowledge in radiologic science through original research and scholarly writing.
