Georgia Southern Symphony Performs March 5
The Georgia Southern Symphony will present a free concert at 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 5 at the Performing Arts Center.
Under the direction of Maestro Adrian Gnam, the Symphony will feature the winners of the 2012 Georgia Southern Symphony Concerto Competition:
- Samuel Cho, Shostakovich Cello Concerto No.1
- Shannon Coffman, Szymanowski Violin Concerto No. 2
- Andrea Colombo, Richard Peaslee’s Nightsongs for Trumpet and Fluegelhorn
- Nestor Jaenz, Hummel’s Introduction, Theme, and Variations for Oboe
- Natasha Martin, Saint-Saens Piano Concerto No. 2
The Symphony will perform selections by Verdi and Berlioz.
