Coffee Event to Promote Sustainability, Fair Trade Practices
Eagle Dining Services and the Center for Sustainability will host Keith Lemnios, CEO of Sun Coffee Roasters on Wednesday, March 27 in Russell Union Room 2048 from 5 - 7 p.m. Lemnios will give a presentation on Sun Coffee Roasters, and their involvement with sustainability efforts, interaction with coffee farmers, and fair trade coffee practices. Lemnios will also share Sun Coffee Roasters with the attending group, and lead them in a “cupping,” or tasting, of the company’s coffee.In addition, Dr. Leege, from the campus’ Center for Sustainability, will speak briefly about campus sustainability efforts. Admission is free and tickets are available on a first come first served basis at the Center for Sustainability or the Eagle Card Center.
