Residence Hall Association Celebrates Year-End with “Eaglefest” Event
As the year comes to a close, the Residence Hall Association (RHA) plans to celebrate its many successes with the biggest housing event of the year:“Eaglefest!” On Saturday, April 26 from Noon – 4 p.m. in the Eagle Village courtyard, all Georgia Southern students are invited to come out and enjoy water slides, inflatables, music, giveaways, and free food.
An annual RHA tradition, Eaglefest 2014 will take students back to their elementary days and celebrate the end of the school year with “yearbook” signings and team bonding for a field-day type experience. A live DJ and emcee will be provide music to put everyone in the summer spirit. Students can compete in the “Hall vs. Hall” field day competitions throughout the event. After playing in the water slides and getting faces painted, participants can cool off inside with free refreshments and silly photos.
“RHA’s last event, “Mardi Gras Madness,” had over 400 in attendance. We hope to double that for EagleFest. Please help RHA reach that goal! Come out and enjoy an afternoon that the inner child in you would love!” says Aubrey Trevathan, director of marketing for the Residence Hall Association.
