Continuous Recruitment
We understand that the traditional recruitment period may not fit everyone’s schedule or needs. That’s why we facilitate Continuous Recruitment, a more flexible and ongoing process that allows potential new members to join Alpha Sigma Tau and Sigma Sigma Sigma throughout the academic year.
What is Continuous Recruitment?
Continuous Recruitment is a relaxed structure of recruitment that has a less rigid schedule and offers a more fluid opportunity of joining one of our chapters. This allows interested students to explore membership opportunities at their own pace and find the right fit for them.
Why Continuous Recruitment?
- Flexibility: Continuous Recruitment offers the flexibility to join a sorority at a time that works best for you, whether it’s at the beginning of the semester, mid-year, or later.
- Personalized Experience: With fewer events and a more relaxed atmosphere, you can take the time to get to know the members and the values of each organization on a more personal level.
- More Opportunities: If you missed formal recruitment or are still considering your options, Continuous Recruitment provides additional opportunities to find your place within our Panhellenic community.
How Does Continuous Recruitment Work?
- Express Your Interest: Reach out to the College Panhellenic Office or the recruitment chairs of Alpha Sigma Tau and Sigma Sigma Sigma to express your interest in joining through Continuous Recruitment.
- Meet and Greet: Attend informal events and gatherings hosted by the CPH, the sororities and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. These events are designed to help you get to know the members and learn more about the organization in a casual setting.
- Receive a Bid: If there is mutual interest, you may receive a bid to join the sorority. Accepting a bid means you officially become a new member and can start participating in all sorority activities.
