Kelly Dolata, Director
Kelly (she/her/hers) has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Armstrong State University and a Master of Education degree in Adult Education and Community Leadership from Armstrong. Kelly began working in the Office of Disability Services at Armstrong in 2006. She oversees and directs all operations for the department on the Armstrong, Statesboro, and Liberty campuses. Katie Christmas, Student Accessibility Coordinator
Katie (she/her/hers) earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with an Arabic Minor and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. As a Student Accessibility Coordinator, Katie meets with students to acquire accommodations and works to create an inclusive environment. Prior to her career in higher education Katie gained valuable experience in patient care and financial aid, which brings a unique blend of technical and student focused expertise to her current role. Jonathan B. Davis, Assistant Director
Jonathan (he/him/his) earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University. He provides information about disability related services and documentation requirements to current and prospective students, parents, and high school staff. He meets with students to discuss accommodation needs, reviews supporting medical and psychological documentation, and approves accommodations for eligible students. Jonathan’s career in higher education includes experience in residence life, recruitment and admissions, student activities, academic advising and accessibility services. Stephanie Herren, Student Accessibility Coordinator
Stephanie (she/her/hers) has a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and a Master of Arts in Professional Communication and Leadership from Georgia Southern University. As a double eagle, she attended both the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses. With over 10 years in higher education, she has worked at both private and public universities in various areas such as sponsored programs, financial services, and academic advising. Stephanie provides information about disability related services and documentation requirements to current and prospective students. She also oversees test proctoring on the Armstrong campus. Chelsea Lanier, Assistant Director
Chelsea (she/her/hers) earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from University of West Georgia and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. She handles accommodation letter requests, exam request forms, departmental budget, and oversees test proctoring services on the Statesboro campus. Chelsea’s career in higher education includes experience in library services, admissions, and academic advising. She has over 10 years of higher education experience. Brittneye Latson, Student Accessibility Coordinator
Brittneye (she/her/hers) received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences from Georgia Southern University in 2015 and Graduate degrees from Nova Southeastern University in Counseling and Curriculum and Instruction Management 2019, 2021. Brittneye has over 10 years experience working with the elderly, children, and individuals with various disabilities as a Behavior Specialist/in clinical, home, and educational settings. As a Student Accessibility Coordinator, she assists students with accommodations requests to help ensure inclusion, access, and equity in the higher education environment. Kelli Waters, Student Accessibility Coordinator
Kelli (she/her/hers) earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work from Georgia Southern University. As Student Accessibility Coordinator, she assists disabled students with access and accommodations to an inclusive college experience. Kelli has 18 years of experience in postsecondary education, where she worked with diverse and underrepresented student populations.
