About HL-GA Battery Company.
HL-GA Battery Company LLC is a joint venture between Hyundai Motor Group and LG Energy Solutions. Hyundai Motor Group and LG Energy Solutions have joined forces to revolutionize the electric vehicle automotive industry. HL-GA Battery Company will manufacture lithium-ion battery cells for electric vehicles. They are located on the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) site, outside of
beautiful Savannah, Georgia.
As HL-GA progresses with its plans, this facility reflects a significant investment in the future of EV battery technology and the adoption of new industry practices. Once complete the new battery factory will have a capacity of 30GWh, enough to power 300,000 EVS.

Ajin Georgia is part of Ajin Industries, a tier 1 supplier for multiple Hyundai Motor Group and KIA facilities located in Alabama and South Korea. The company produces a variety of automotive body parts and electronics for original equipment manufacturers. Ajin Industries has been a key worldwide supplier to automotive manufacturers since 1976.

Ajin Georgia is the newest addition to meet the supplier needs of the Hyundai Motor Group EV Meta Plant located in Bryan County. Ajin Georgia is investing approximately $317 million in constructing a state-of-the-art metal stamping and robotic fabrication manufacturing facility located in the Bruce Yawn Industrial Park at the I-16 / Highway 301 Interchange. The plant will employ approximately 600 associates when at capacity.
