Coach Willie Fritz Announces 2014 FBS Signing Class
New Head Coach Willie Fritz announced Georgia Southern University’s 2014 Signing
Class at a news conference today. The 20 new recruits make up the University’s
first ever Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) class, making February 5 a day to
remember.
“I’m very excited about this historic day,” Fritz said. “Our
2014 Signing Class represents young men who had previously committed to
Georgia Southern before I was hired, student-athletes who provide immediate
assistance to the positions we need, and those who are talented enough to
compete at the FBS level on the field and in the classroom,” he said.
The new recruits introduced on National Signing Day represent 10 states and range from freshmen to juniors
