ES&A Faculty Members Attend INFORMS

Faculty members from the Enterprise Systems and Analytics Department attended the recent INFORMS annual conference in Phoenix. INFORMS is the largest international organization for analytics and information systems. Approximately 7,000 academics, students, and practitioners were in attendance. Steve Moss, Ph.D., led the session “Undergraduate Outreach Through Student Competitions,” and Janet Moss served as a panel discussant for “Managing Experiential Learning in Business Analytics” and “Implementing Experiential Learning for Analytics Across Diverse Academic Settings.” The Georgia Southern University student INFORMS chapter was recognized as an outstanding chapter at an awards ceremony during the conference.
