Bring learning to life with a field trip to the Wildlife Center!
Field trips at the Center for Wildlife Education offer a unique, hands on learning experience that connects students to the natural world. Through up-close encounters with native and exotic animals, students will gain a deeper understanding of wildlife, conservation, and ecology. Our education programs are thoughtfully designed to align with Georgia Standards of Excellence, helping educators reinforce classroom lessons through real-world science. Whether its exploring animal habitats, watching live demonstrations, or engaging in interactive presentations, a visit to the Wildlife Center is a fun and memorable way to support your curriculum.
Helpful Information:
There are several field trip options to choose from based on age group, length of time, and learning content.

Native Habitats & Wildlife
The Native Habitats & Wildlife is our most popular field trip option featuring rotations around the Center as well as a flight show. This program is best suited for K-12 groups.
Wild About Wildlife
The Wild about Wildlife field trip is a one-hour program featuring both reptiles & birds of prey. It is designed for kindergarteners to college students and can also be tailored for adult groups/organizations.
Fledglings
The Fledglings program is specifically designed for Pre-K students (ages 4-5). It is one hour long, and features three rotations around the Center. The flight show is not included due to the age of the students. Mondays are reserved for Fledgling programs.
Wildlife Connections
The Wildlife Connections program is designed for adult groups, organizations, clubs, and more.
Students are welcome to visit our gift shop, Freedom’s General Store. If you would like to have your students visit the giftshop, plan on allowing them to do so after the program has ended.
