How do I change my Dining Plan or EagleXpress?
Log in to your my.GeorgiaSouthern.edu account and use the link under Auxiliary Services titled “Purchase a Dining Plan” to change your Eagle Dining Plan.
You may also stop by Eagle Card Services, located in Dining Commons on the Statesboro Campus and TechHub in the Armstrong Center on the Armstrong Campus, and speak with one of their representatives.
When can I change my Dining Plan?
Dining Plans may be changed on the last day of add/drop for the semester. Dining Plans typically activate the week of move-in to residence halls (or Operation Move-In).
When do the Dining Plans start? End?
Dining Plans typically start on the first week of move-in for the residence halls at Georgia Southern University. In the fall and spring, it is typically the Monday before the Operation Move-In for residence halls. I don’t live in a residence hall. Can I purchase a Dining Plan?
You sure can! All of our Dining Plans are available for any student, faculty, or staff member of Georgia Southern University to purchase. For more information, look on the MyGS link of “Purchase a Dining Plan” or call Eagle Dining Services at (912) 478-1431.

What is EagleXpress?
EagleXpress is a declining balance system instituted by Eagle Card Services. Your EagleXpress account is automatically linked to your Eagle Card Mobile ID when you activate it. Every Georgia Southern University student, faculty, and staff member has an EagleXpress account to which they can make deposits online or at Eagle Card Services located in Dining Commons. EagleXpress is accepted at all EDS dining locations on campus and you receive a 5% discount whenever you make a purchase. EagleXpress is also accepted at 40+ locations around the Statesboro area. What are Dining Dollars?
Dining Dollars (D$) can be used across campuses at all EDS dining locations. Similar to EagleXpress, Dining Dollars allow you to make dollar-for-dollar purchases. Dining Dollars can be used at all EDS retail dining locations such as: Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Sushi with Gusto, Market Street Deli, GUS Mart convenience stores and more.
What’s the difference between Dining Dollars and EagleXpress?
Dining Dollars can be deposited to your account through the Transact eAccounts portal or purchased with an Access+ dining plan. They can be used at all EDS dining locations and you receive a 5% discount when you use Dining Dollars.

Will my Dining Dollars expire?
Yes. Dining Dollars expire at the end of the academic year that they were issued. If you purchased a Dining Plan for Fall, your Dining Dollars will expire in the Spring semester, typically in the month of May after fall starts.
Will my EagleXpress funds expire?
No. EagleXpress never expires. As long as you are an active student, faculty, or staff member of Georgia Southern University, your EagleXpress will always be on your account. In the event that you leave the university, you may always request a refund of your remaining EagleXpress balance from Eagle Card Services if your remaining balance is over $25 USD. How can I make an EagleXpress deposit?
EagleXpress deposits can be made in a variety of ways. (1) Go online or use your mobile device to access the eAccounts website or app to make a deposit, or (2) Stop by the Eagle Card Services located in Dining Commons or TechHub in the Armstrong Center of the Armstrong Campus. You may also make a deposit with the cashier at any of our residential dining halls (Dining Commons, Lakeside or The Galley).

What dining locations are open on the weekend?
Dining Commons (Statesboro) and The Galley (Armstrong) are the primary EDS facilities open on weekends during the Spring and Fall semesters. Other locations vary depending on season and event schedules. Check out our hours of operation for more information.

What is offered in the Residential Dining (Dining Commons, Lakeside Dining Commons and The Galley Dining Commons) facilities?
Each large-scale dining facility offers many options and a wide variety of choices. You can indulge in Asian cuisine, pizza by the slice, pasta dishes, home-style favorites, grilled burgers, chicken sandwiches, salad and fruit bar options, and much more.
