Marketing Guidelines
General Guidelines
Placement of any outside marketing materials from on campus departments or outside vendors must be approved by the Eagle Dining Services Marketing Coordinator. You can reach the EDS Marketing Coordinator at (912) 478-2485 or eagledining@georgiasouthern.edu.
- No alcohol or tobacco solicitation is allowed.
- A creative proof of the document must be emailed to eagledining@georgiasouthern.edu for approval before printing, approximately two weeks before displaying. Please send as a PDF.
- Please limit submissions based on location and availability of space.
- If you have any questions, please call (912) 478-2485.
- The only approved format for the Residential Dining facilities are the 22×28 poster frames. There are four spots available for campus departments and student organizations. They are on a first come, first serve basis.
- EDS reserves the right to remove any current materials from any poster frame for placement of our own advertising material. Appropriate parties will be notified in the event of this occurrence as it pertains to their materials.
Formatting Your Materials
For materials to be placed in any dining locations, they must adhere to specific size and standard guidelines. Please remember that these section outlines what formats are appropriate, but it does not ensure that you may submit materials based on these formats for all locations. Location specific guidelines are listed below.
- 22×28 – There are 22×28 poster frames located in each Residential Dining facility (Dining Commons and Lakeside Dining Commons) as well as other EDS locations around campus in the future.
- 11×17 – This is a common format used by many departments for bulletin boards and common areas around campus in a variety of buildings. Many EDS locations have areas for 11×17 posters.
- 8.5×11 – Standard letter size
- 5.6×6.5 – Napkin Holder size in both Dining Commons locations. (Currently unavailable to parties outside of EDS)
- 4.25×6.5 – Napkin Holder size in Einstein Brothers Bagels and Cold Stone Creamery. (Currently unavailable to parties outside of EDS)
Table Tents
Table tents come in a variety of sizes. Table tents are not acceptable at either Dining Commons location. Suggested locations for table tents are Starbucks, Talons Grille, Zach’s Brews, Oasis, and Market Street Deli. Many of these locations require approve from their respective building, so please ensure you have the proper clearance before placing any table tents near these locations.
