EAGLE ALERT (All Campuses): Georgia Southern to resume regular business operations on Friday, Sept. 6
Georgia Southern University will resume regular business operations tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 6) at 8 a.m.; however, classes are still canceled for all campuses.
Also, please be aware that there are some special considerations for the Armstrong Campus in Savannah.
Armstrong Campus:
- Although Governor Brian Kemp today lifted the evacuation order for Chatham County, Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus remains closed until 8 a.m. tomorrow.
- The Galley on the Armstrong Campus will resume operations at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow.
- Residence halls on the Armstrong Campus will re-open at noon tomorrow.
- The Armstrong Campus will resume normal business operations and faculty and staff should report back to work, according to their normal work schedule, on Friday, Sept. 6.
- Classes are canceled on Friday, Sept. 6.
Statesboro Campus:
- The Statesboro Campus will resume normal business operations and faculty and staff should report back to work, according to their normal work schedule, on Friday, Sept. 6.
- Dining Commons on the Statesboro Campus will resume operations at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.
- Classes are canceled on Friday, Sept. 6.
Liberty Campus:
- The Liberty Campus will resume normal business operations and faculty and staff should report back to work, according to their normal work schedule, on Friday, Sept. 6.
- Classes are canceled on Friday, Sept. 6.
Students on all campuses should continue to monitor their online Folio accounts to remain up-to-date on their classes.
If traveling back to work on Friday poses a safety risk, please contact your supervisor directly to discuss your individual circumstances.
The football home opener against Maine at Paulson Stadium is still scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m.
