Participate, Learn, and Win

We are thrilled to kick off our inaugural Lab Safety Awareness Week! To support our strategic goals regarding the Chemical Hygiene Plan and safe storage, we are focusing this year’s theme on Chemicals in the Laboratory. Lab Safety Awareness week is presented by the Lab Safety and Industrial Hygiene team in the Research Integrity office.

The goal of this week is to:

• Introduce the new Lab Safety and Industrial Hygiene team
• Bring awareness to lab safety on campus
• Educate the GS community on new and upcoming safety initiatives and resources
