Service-Learning

Service-learning at Georgia Southern University is a course-based, credit-bearing organized service activity that enables students to apply academic knowledge and critical thinking skills to address community priorities.
Various resources are available to support faculty, students and community partners efforts to build meaningful, constructive, rewarding service-learning projects. Service-Learning is a High Impact Practice (HIP).
Service-Learning Facilitators are student leaders, who assist the professor in conducting meaningful and exciting service-learning experiences. For more information, check out our “Students” tab above.
